What are the transition stages with FLiiP?
The FLiiP team supports your transition. We offer a turnkey service for the transfer of your data.
It can be difficult to make the decision to make a platform change because we know you're all-in-one business software is at the center of your business.
That's why, for each new customer, we assign an account manager who will be in charge of your transition from start to finish.
He will be in charge of tracking the progress of your transition to FLiiP to make it as transparent and easy as possible for you and your clients.
The time to expect is about 7 to 10 business days before you can process transactions with your new platform, depending on whether your platform requires importing important data.
So here's what the stages of your transition look like:
- You will have a kick-off meeting with your Account Manager to go over the steps for an effective transition. In the call, you and the Account Manager will go over what details you need to provide to Account Manager to begin creating your platform, and what steps you need to complete on your end.
- Our team will send you send you a link with login credentials to begin preparing your platform (creation of your subdomain, visual adaptations to make it reflect your image). (+/- 2 hours). These steps will be outlined in the platform and communicated to you by your Account Manager.
- You must complete your request with one of our payment processing partners (+/- 15 minutes for the owner). This form will allow you to process payments automatically via the platform (either by credit card and/or by direct debit)
- Once we have the necessary details from you (class calendar, memberships details, etc.), we then start creating your schedule, your courses, services & packages. (+/- 4 hours for our team)
- We then proceed to export your data from your current platform to prepare the data for import into FLiiP (if applicable). This step is one of the most important in the process. We need to match multiple reports and validate the data so that we can ensure data integrity is being respected. (+/- 10 hours for our team)
The list of imported data includes the complete list of all your members (including those who are no longer active), but also the telephone, address, email, the plan (s), start date, end date, number of classes used/remaining, and more.
Note that it is also possible to import your payment data.
When the data import is complete, we ask that you link your FLiiP platform with your Mailchimp account. This will allow you to communicate with your active members, but also with all your former members. If you do not have a Mailchimp account, you can create one for free. - We then proceed to validate of the data of your platform to ensure that everything is completed correctly.
- During this period the owner and administrators must follow the YouTube training videos & FAQs in order to fully understand the different actions to follow on a daily basis.
- Prior to your official launch date, we plan a 60 minute virtual meeting with your account manager to answer your questions more specific to your business and provide you training on the platform.
- Following this meeting, we will send you a templated email to send to all your active clients so that they can retrieve their account and download the mobile application. They will have to recover their password and enter their payment information if required.
- Finally, our team will accompany you during all the stages of your transition as well as in your beginnings of operation to ensure that your experience is as extraordinary as possible.
Note that it is preferable to plan a period of adaptation and presale before the opening of your center (if applicable). This will allow you to start collecting income even before you start your operations.
