Send a Purchase Request to a Member (Membership or Service)
FLiiP allows operators to send purchase requests to members for memberships or services. The member receives an email notification and can accept or decline the request directly from their FLiiP account.
Before You Start
⚠️ Important: Make sure automated communications are enabled in your settings. Without this, email notifications will not be sent to members or admins.
To verify: go to Settings > Communications and make sure automated emails are enabled (New contract purchase request, Purchase request accepted/denied, New service purchase request, etc.)
How to Send a Purchase Request
You can send a purchase request in two ways:
Option 1 — From the Member's Profile
- Go to Member Management and open the member's profile.
- Navigate to the Services/Memberships tab.
- Click New Service / New Membership.
- Select the service or membership you want to offer.
- Send the request.
Option 2 — From POS
- Open POS.
- Search for and select the member.
- Select the service or membership.
- Choose Send a Request instead of processing it directly.
Once sent, the member receives an email with the details and a link to review the request in their account or on the mobile app.
📝 Note: Sending membership purchase requests is not yet available on the mobile app.
Managing Sent Requests (Operator View)
To track and manage all requests, go to Management > Requests. There are two tabs:
Memberships Tab

Services Tab
| Purchase Requests Sent to Members | Service requests sent by the operator |
From each tab, you can:
- Resend — sends the email notification to the member again
- Cancel — removes the request from the list
Member Experience
Once the email is received, the member can:
- Click the link in the email to open their FLiiP profile.
- Navigate to Memberships / Services > Purchase Requests.
- Review all pending requests (memberships and services) in one place.
- Click Accept to confirm and complete payment, or Decline to reject the request.
What Happens After the Member Responds
If Accepted
- The membership or service appears as Active in the member's profile.
- The transaction is recorded in the member's Purchase History.
- The request is removed from the list.
- The operator receives an email confirmation (if communications are enabled).
If Declined
- No charge is made.
- The request is removed from the list.
- The operator receives an email notification of the decline (if communications are enabled).
