Why do emails go to my clients' junk mailbox?

Why do emails go to my clients' junk mailbox?

Prevent your emails from ending up in spam emails.

First of all, a business email ending with @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @yahoo.ca, could cause a problem with receiving to the junk mailbox.

The ideal is to have an email like info@nomdevotrecentre.com when doing business with a host to ensure a better deliverability rate.

For example: GoDaddy, Intelisoft, etc.

The ultimate solution to improve the deliverability rate is the setting of SPF / DNS. In short, these are little bits of information that you put in place with your provider when you bought your domain (like Gandi, Cloudfare for example).

They are part of your DNS settings and help email services to know if your shipment is legitimate and therefore improve your deliverability rate.

Ok, but how do I set the SPF and DKIM record?

For Google:

You need to make sure that your DNS records are up to date and include the correct SPF and DKIM records for Google.

For other suppliers:

The parameters you will need to fill in will not be specific to FLiiP. They will simply be part of the configuration of your email domain.

Check with your email provider, as each provider has its own articles to guide you through the setup process.

How to configure the SPF / DNS record?

Whatever domain hosting you are using at the moment, there is only one thing you need to do to validate SPF:

  1. Go to your DNS settings
  2. Create a new record
  3. Choose "TXT"
  4. Put "@" in the name
  5. Put v = spf1 include: _spf.google.com include: amazonses.com ~ all

And save.
