How to Clock In and Out (For Staff)
Before You Start
You need a PIN code to clock in and out. If you don't have one yet, ask your manager to create it for you in Manage Staff > Staff List > Edit Employee > PIN Code.
How to Clock In
- Click the CLOCK-IN/OUT icon in the top navigation (available on all pages)
- Select your name from the dropdown
- Enter your PIN code
- Click Start shift
✅ Your shift begins tracking automatically.
How to Take a Break
- Click the CLOCK-IN/OUT icon
- Enter your PIN code
- Click Start break
You can take multiple breaks during one shift. All break times are tracked and deducted from your total hours.
How to Resume Work/Clock out
- Click the CLOCK-IN/OUT icon
- Enter your PIN code
- You'll see your total time worked today
- Click Resume shift or End shift
✅ Your total hours are automatically calculated: (Clock-out time - Clock-in time) minus all breaks.
Adding Notes (Optional)
When clocking in, starting breaks, resuming work, or clocking out, you can add an optional note (up to 500 characters).
Examples:
- "Starting early today"
- "Taking lunch break"
- "Overtime approved by manager"
