This article outlines what you need to know in order to be compliant with NF525 for France. This is applicable to studios in France only.
FLiiP is in the process of obtaining official NF525 certification. To ensure compliance, we are implementing key measures that will soon become mandatory on our platform.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. No walk-in sales allowed
NF525 compliance requires that all sales be associated with a client profile. This means that transactions cannot be processed as walk-in sales under any circumstances.
The option for a walk-in sale is removed from the Point of Sale.
2. Mandatory Invoice Information
Invoices must contain both client and business information. Any missing details will be considered non-compliant. These fields will soon be mandatory on the platform.
Client Information (Mandatory on Invoices):
- Name
- Address
- Zip Code
- City
To ensure compliance, please begin completing client’s profiles with the necessary information now, from their client profile.
Business Information (Mandatory on Invoices):
- Company Name
- Address
- Postal Code
- City
- Country
- Legal form
- Share Capital
- VAT number
- SIRET number

- City of registry office
To ensure smooth compliance, please begin updating your business details now under General > Settings in FLiiP.
3. NF525 Certification is Still in Progress
Our NF525 certification process is ongoing, and additional adjustments will be made.
We will notify you of any further changes, and announce once the NF525 certification is officially complete.
