Live Check-in Chrome Extension - Getting Started

Available in: Customers with check-in feature enabled (contact CSM to enable it)

Note: When enabled, it is visible by default to Admin roles and above. Access can be configured in Manage Staff>Roles settings. Chrome browser is required.

What is Live Check-in?

The Live Check-in Chrome Extension displays real-time member check-ins in a sidebar that stays visible while you work in FLiiP. You'll see members as they check in, view their status (success, alert, or blocked), and access member profiles instantly—without leaving your current page.

Installing the Chrome Extension

Step 1: Get the Extension

1. Open Chrome browser
2. Visit the Chrome Web Store on this link 
3. Click Add to Chrome
4. Click Continue to install when prompted

Step 2: Configure the Extension

1. Click the Live Check-in extension icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. Login with your username and password
3. Click Connect
4. Select a gym location
5. The sidebar will appear showing live check-ins

Using the Sidebar

Once installed, the sidebar will:

• Automatically appear when you open FLiiP
• Stay visible as you navigate between pages
• Update in real-time when members check in
• Show the last member who checked in at the top

To open/close the sidebar:

•  Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar

FAQ

Q: Can I see check-ins from multiple locations?
A: No, the extension shows check-ins at only one location at a time. 

Q: Can I customize what alerts are shown?
A: Not currently. All alerts configured in FLiiP settings will appear in the feed.

Q: The sidebar isn't showing up. What should I do?
A: Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open it.

Q: Why aren't my check-ins updating in real-time?
A: Refresh the page.
