Here are the different ways to take attendance for a class.
With FLiiP, there are several ways you can take attendance for a course. It can either be done automatically, with the integration of a scanner, or it can be done manually via the attendance by the instructors.
Taking attendance as an instructor:
On the web:
If you want to take attendance via the web interface, go to the group class calendar, and click on the class.
From the list of registered members, click either 'yes' (if member is present), or 'no' (if member is absent).
Good to know: You can also see additional information about each member, register new members to the class, change the membership used, etc.

On mobile:
Select the class you'd like to take attendance. On the list of registered members, click either 'yes' (if member is present), or 'no' (if member is absent).
Attendance check with a scanner & barcode from the mobile application:
You can also take attendance by using a barcode reader, which helps save instructors time from manually taking attendance.
You can customize the settings for taking attendance automatically when customers scan their barcode, by going to Settings > Check-in.
To learn more about the barcode scanner, please see this article.
